Historical moment and I am ready for Change.Anyways... After I had a test and a lot of time before my next class... and some written during class... I wrote this "blog".So enjoy...So whn Ms. Kayla Garcia hasnt written since July... Starts a whole new blog and you haven't written yours for a while...
You realize it is time for an update.
I am actually writing this from OCC, b/c I got out of my Psych Class that I didn't know til a good hour ago I had a test in... Whgoops! I pretty much failed, but
C'est la vie...Anyways.... since I pretty much cursed out my new favorite Jackass Trace Cyrus... things have been a little rocky, but will hopefully be smoothed out soon (hopefully...)
Last weekend, I went to Ohio for my dad' side of the family...
My Aunt and Uncle have wanted us to go to Columbus to a concert that either my cousin Drew or Jared were doing at Capital University where they go....
So we finally got to go...
And to be honest... I would have rather stayed home or at least tour Cleveland (
Hello Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame?!?!)... But I went anyways and it wasn't too bad outside of the fact that Columbus Ohio is 8 hours from here!We had to wake up eary and stop at my aunt and uncle's house in Rochester b/c we were riding with them in their big ass truck....
We stopped at McDonald's (Where the rare tanned chipminks live) for lunch and got to Capital later in the afternoon.
A couple things I can say while up there though, is that the Capital Campus... is beautiful...
I'm jealous that one of their school colors is purple... it's small like OCC too... The neighborhood is amazing... They have a Rite Aid... and an old-school movie theater... Along with an unneccesarily large Greek style Starbucks ( Somewhere K2's ears just perked up)... and their streets are safe enough to walk up and down... Completely Barefoot...
I can say from experience... stay tuned...
So we saw Drew first & he showed us his small, stinky boy-ish... yet livable dorm where Nick J wishes he had his room mate's signed (actually signed) poster by The Police...
Then we saw Jared as my uncle was trying to figure out what was wrong with Drew's car... then headed to the hotel.
There I saw My Aunt's side of the fam who came from North Carolina, and proved their location with their accents... And then I was called "Sassy" (eh?), and my Aunt's sis wondered why I was in a "black-clothes- only phase" and have been since about 9th grade...
Then me and the parents had to switch our 1st room to another and then i had to rush to get ready and create a "Happy Birthday"/"Congrats" poster for Jared.
When we were ALL ready we ended up eating at this restaurant right next door that played this kick-ass country music all night before heading back to Capital.
The concert, like I subtly mentioned, was on my cousin's birthday and we forgot our "Happy Birthday Cousin/Nephew" card at home so now in the most uncomfortable heels (I say that now), me and my parents walked the 3/4 blocks all the way down to a Rite Aid and back.
And just on the brink of blood, I took them shoes off and walked barefoot all the way back to Capital... Niceeee.
The Concert... obviously was not my taste, but for my cousin to stand center stage with only a pianist to accompany him as he played the trombone like a pro... was pretty awesome. So Go Him...
...And the only time that I got distracted was during one of the very few breks that I forgot to turn off my phone and in the small 200 seat auditorium you heard my David Henrie textone... "
BURNIN' UP!!!"
Mother was pissed.
Anyways, it was a fairly quick concert and we were out of there in no time and out in the hall for food. Yum!...
That didn't last long after and we were cleaning up...
I also had to help my equally shy & quiet cousin's leftovers to his dorm and back...
awkwarrrrd...I also got to see Jared's apartment where I was re-decorating in my mind b/c that's just what I do when I go anywhere... But it was madd cute... I want one...
Then we went back to the hotel and I got a sympathetic foot rub before bed.
Sunday was the day I discovered that not only do I want a chocolate fountain for Christmas, but I also want a waffle iron...
La Quinta had you make your own, and it me and my mom had a blasty blast...
Then we went to the JCPenney outlet where I got some long sleeved shirts and jeans (that I don't wear now, of course), before hitting the road. Another 6 hours...
Oh the times we had... Good times.
So yeah that was my trip to Ohio and I swear next time... CLEVELAND.
Then I still have school (you should be shocked...)...
As far asanything else...
Trace Cyrus is still a jackass...
His sister needs to get the fuck over Nick Jonas ("I still hate you" -Miley to after singing
7 Things)...
And being a Jonas fan... is starting to get boring.
The big thing right now is Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas' relationship...
Everyone knows that he denied it and then they broke up, and then I kind of hated Taylor for trying to beat Miley out in the "bitter" category...
Blah Blah...
I mean her new myspace vid had some concert footage, celebs telling you to buy her album... her and Momma Swift standing in line to vote...
and then at about 4:15, she held a "Shane Gray" doll and said "
See this one even comes with a phone... You know so he can break up with other dolls"
Then later she had he doll across from Her's and she told it to "
Stay away from him okay?"And I was like wowwwww, she really needs to get over it...
til I heard her Ryan Seacrest interview... and the preview for Ellen the next week.
So now I do have to say I have a little more respect for Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas is solidly my 2nd favorite jackass at the moment.
*gasp*
Because to deny a relationship, that she wanted out in the open... Being distant.... Then break up with her over the phone in 25 seconds for another girl...
Well that's just a very stupid thing to do.
So I will say that everyone should buy Taylor Swift's new album "Fearless" (And not David Archuleta's... just don't put yourself through it)...
and pay attention to "
Always and Forever"... b/c it's exactly who you think it's about.
